Family House

Family House Family House includes 20 resident rooms with private bathrooms, televisions and private telephones.

A local, nonprofit organization founded in 1985, Family House of Peoria provides home-like accommodations and compassionate services for patients and families of patients receiving care in Peoria's hospitals. Our house has a parlor, multipurpose room and lounge areas for an opportunity to relax and interact with other guests. Our two fully-equipped kitchens and large dining room provide guests the opportunity to prepare meals to their own liking and on their own schedule.

Jaidyn’s big smile and high energy make it hard to believe he is in need of a bone marrow transplant. Here is his story: 💛👇

"Hi, my name is Jaidyn. I am 7 years old and fighting cancer. I was diagnosed with leukemia on January 22, 2024. I was supposed to ring the bell on June 4th of this year, but I ended up with AML/MDS, so I couldn't ring it yet. I went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, but they didn't have the exact care I needed. Now, I am back at OSF HealthCare waiting for Chicago to accept me for my bone marrow transplant! I am a fun-loving boy full of energy, and I can't wait to get this journey over with and be a healthy boy so I can play, go to school, and travel!"
