The Climate Smart Floridians program was developed by the University of Florida Sea Grant Climate Work Action Team to increase climate literacy and reduce local greenhouse gas emissions at the household level. This program uses the 3 pillars of sustainability – economic, social, and environmental. Many people today are seeking ways to reduce their everyday living expenses. The Climate Smart Floridians program presents options from which participants may choose depending on what makes sense for their household and situation.
