Mainstream Media Reporting Trump’s “Historic” House Losses? Hold On. Not Even Close to the Biggest!

So they want to talk historic losses? Let’s take a look and put the numbers in perspective! Clinton’s Democrats lost 54 House seats in 1994. Obama’s Democrats lost 63 in 2010. Republicans’ reported House losses this year are smaller so far. Now THOSE Clinton and Obama numbers are historic losses!

That doesn’t make losing easy, especially when good people you supported came up short. But one election does not erase the work they’ve done or close the door on what comes next. Stay informed and involved by encouraging good candidates, supporting your communities, and continuing to show up between elections. There is still meaningful work to do and every reason to keep moving forward
