Musser Scout Reservation is the 1400 acre scouting treasure in Green Lane, PA. The reservation is home to Camps Hart, Delmont, and Garrison.

We offer year-round programs for cub scouts, boy scout and venturers, as well as summer programs for cub scouts.

Looking for an opportunity to get outdoors for some camping and fun with your family or Pack this summer? Join us at Camp Hart for our Cub Family Weekend! You bring the people, and we’ll bring the program, food, and FUN to make for a great time in camp. Check-in starts Friday night at 7pm, and the fun runs through Sunday morning.

Our goal is to help you enjoy the outdoors without the normal fast-paced schedule of typical Cub camp. Cub Family Camp will have program offered throughout your time in camp, but you will have the opportunity to decide what your family or Pack attends. Hanging-out in the campsite is more than acceptable, and going for a hike or playing yard games are other great ways to spend your weekend with us!

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) teaches youth the skills that will be valuable not just as a leader in their scouting unit, but throughout their lifetime. The NYLT course centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, KNOW, and DO. The key elements are then taught with a clear focus on HOW TO.

Our June course registration is closed but don't worry, there is still space in our August course at Camp Hart!

Who is eligible for NYLT?

- Any Scout, Venturer or Sea Scout, currently registered with Scouting America
- 13-years or older, First Class rank or higher or having completed Crew Leadership Training
- Scouts should have completed at least one long term camping experience before attending NYLT.

Do you wish to be able to offer BB and Archery opportunities to your Scouts?

Come out to Camp Hart to complete the training to become a certified BB and/or Archery Range Master.

Scouting requires all Range and Target Activities (including Cub Scout archery, BB guns, wrist rockets/slingshots, catapults or rockets) to be supervised by a certified range master. At the Cub Scout level, BB and archery is only allowed at district and council-operated events, and may NOT be conducted at the pack or den level. This training does NOT certify someone to open an Archery range at the unit-level for Troops, Crews, or Ships.

This certification is valid for two years from the course completion date.
