Celebrating May's National Bike Month in Town of Pendleton

PENDLETON — With help from Madison County Emergency Management and South Madison Fire Territory, Cub Scout Pack 232 ran its Bike Rodeo recently, offering lessons in bicycle safety and maintenance to scouts and others.

The Community Bike Rodeo is happening right now at Pendleton Heights High School!

Kids are riding through our mini “bike city,” learning safety skills, and having a great time.

We’ll be here until 4:00 PM—so there’s still plenty of time to come out!

Looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend?

We’re turning a parking lot into a mini “bike city” where kids can ride through streets, intersections, and fun challenges while learning real-world bike safety skills.

Learn from local police, fire, and community partners along the way.

We’re turning a parking lot into a mini city for kids on bikes—complete with streets, stop signs, and fun challenges!

Kids will get to:
✔️ Practice real-world riding skills
✔️ Learn bike safety from local first responders
✔️ Ride through a hands-on, interactive course

Our Cub Scouts walked through downtown tonight, picking up trash along the way. Unfortunately, they collected more trash than all of the park trash pickups combined (6 full trash bags).

We’re proud of their hard work and their commitment to helping keep our community clean!

PENDLETON — Members of Cub Scout Pack 232 and their families were busy last week planning and creating cakes, pies, cookies and more for their third annual Cake Auction and Bake Sale auction.

💙 THANK YOU, Pendleton! 💛

We are beyond grateful for the incredible support our community showed for Cub Scout Pack 232’s 3rd Annual Cake Auction! Thanks to your generosity, we raised $3,566 — a 64% increase from last year! 🎉

We sold all of our big cake auction items and many of our baked goods. Any remaining items were donated to the Pendleton Police Department and South Madison Fire Territory, allowing us to give back to those who serve our community.

Your support helps make Scouting possible for our Cub Scouts and reminds us how lucky we are to be part of such a supportive, caring community. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for supporting Pack 232 and Scouting!
