Moonlight Llamas* and Alpacas too! Madison County 4-H, Indiana Moonlight Llamas and Alpacas too! is 4H club located in Madison County, Indiana. This allows more kids to be involved in the project.

Members of the club need not own their own llama, but may lease one from leaders or other farms. Along with learning about husbandry, natural history and training of the animals, members also particpate in learning and exhibiting fiber crafts and posters at the county fair.

Entry forms are up on our website: hlaa.us for the HLAA Fall Show and Buckeye Regional. You can also access the entry forms on our page. Entry deadline is September 10th to be in the show book. However, there are NO late entry fees. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We are going to try to meet tonight, as long as it is not pouring rain. If you choose to attend please dress for the weather. If it is pouring at the farm at 6:00 pm I will text or email everyone to cancel.

Just a reminder that we meet this Thursday 5/6 starting at 6:30pm. I will have lease agreements for those who need them. Please work on getting pictures of your llama/alpaca and getting them registered into 4HOnline before May 15th. Your lease agreements need to be on file in the Extension Office by May 15th. If you have any questions please ask. Hope to see everyone Thursday!

Due to social distancing limitations, we will not be able to offer workshops at the Hoosier Hills Fiber Festival this year.

We will still have a full selection of vendors to shop and are happy to be able to use the newly renovated Herring Hall to host vendors!

Vendors will be in three buildings this year: Scott Hall, Herring Hall, and Magill Hall.

Start your trip at our Welcome Center to get a door prize ticket, pick up a map, and buy some HHFF swag!
