We do not have any paid staff members. All of our workers are volunteers. In order to pay the utility bills, insurance, maintenance and repair expenses, we rely upon donations, small membership fees and frequent fundraisers such as raffles, PIG-IN-A-POKE Bingo, Breakfast With Santa, and wrestling matches
We offer our facilities for softball league and tournament play on the newly restored Hiram F
ield and for special interest groups to participate in activities such as scrapbooking, card games, and coupon swapping. The Golden Friends, a senior citizen's group, meets at our facility twice a week. Our dedicated volunteers are working in cooperation with other organizations to begin offering new programs, activities and events such as classes for First Aid and CPR Certification, Babysitter's Training, Red Cross Blood Drives, and various support groups to assist people who are dealing with specific issues such as medical conditions, grief, or substance abuse. We are also organizing Health and Wellness Fairs, mobile rabies, spay and neuter clinics, animal adoption fairs and new special interest groups and activities such as s**g dancing clubs, book clubs, and ice cream socials. Our facilities are also available for private parties, receptions, reunions, etc. for a nominal contribution to offset maintenance and repair expenses.
