Today we celebrate six truly special women as they retire from the West. ❤️

We would like to recognize Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Connor, Mrs. Petras, Mrs. Lowry, Nurse Sheila, and Mrs. Leahy for their incredible dedication to our students and school community.

Together, they have devoted an amazing 132 years to the Peabody Public Schools, with most of those years spent right here at the West. As teachers, a specialist, a nurse, preschool teacher and a paraprofessional, they have each played an important role in the lives of our children - teaching, encouraging, supporting, and caring for generations of students.

As is our PTO tradition, we are honored to donate a book to the school library in each of their names, creating a lasting tribute to the impact they have made. We are also grateful to be able to give them a small token of our appreciation for their years of service.

Thank you, for the countless ways you have enriched our school community. Your kindness, patience, and dedication have touched so many lives.

We wish each of you a retirement filled with happiness, good health, adventure, and time with family and friends. Congratulations on this well-earned milestone. You will be greatly missed, but your legacy at the West will live on for years to come.

Families will enjoy:

PK–Grade 2 Families
🕓 Doors open at 4:45 PM
🔬 Mad Science Show: 5:15–6:15 PM

Grades 3–5 Families
🕕 Doors open at 6:00 PM
🔬 Mad Science Show: 6:30–7:30 PM

⚠️ Space is limited, so be sure to register using the QR code on the flyer. Families with children in multiple grade levels may choose either session.

☕🎉 We are excited to welcome Drippy Coffee Bar to Field Day!

Drippy Coffee Bar will be on-site from 8:15 AM–10:45 AM, so you can grab a delicious drink at morning drop-off or when you arrive to enjoy the Field Day festivities.

The coffee bar will be located near the K/1 doors, right by the Field Day check-in area, making it easy to stop by and treat yourself.

Be sure to check out the attached menu to see all the great options they’ll be offering.

💳 Cash and cards are both accepted.

A huge congratulations to Lucas for being the top fundraiser in our March Read-A-Thon! 📚⭐️

As a special reward, Lucas got to enjoy lunch with Vice Principal Mrs. Fucile and a few of his friends. What a fun way to celebrate all of his hard work and support!

Is there any parent who may be able to help us properly reset these bricks? These bricks were purchased by families during our fundraiser for the new playground a few years ago, and we would hate to see them get ruined.
