🖤Black Balloon Day – March 6🖤

Today we remember the lives lost to overdose and stand together to raise awareness about the devastating impact of addiction. Black Balloon Day is a time for communities across the country to honor those we have lost, support the families who carry their memory, and continue fighting for hope, recovery, and change.

Today we remember and honor:

🕊 Anthony Todisco
🕊 Kathleen Todisco
🕊 Arthur Todisco

Your lives mattered. Your stories matter. And you will never be forgotten.

Each black balloon represents a life taken too soon and a reminder that the overdose crisis continues to affect families, friends, and communities everywhere. By speaking their names and sharing their stories, we keep their memory alive and help break the stigma surrounding addiction.

At Mario’s Mission, we believe awareness saves lives. We stand with every family who has experienced this unimaginable loss and continue working toward a future where recovery, compassion, and support are available to everyone who needs it.

Please take a moment today to remember those we have lost and to support those who are still fighting.

National Black Balloon Day – March 6, 2026🖤

On this day, we pause.
We remember.
We honor the lives lost to overdose.

Every black balloon represents a life that mattered. A son. A daughter. A mother. A father. A friend. A story that deserved more time.

At Mario’s Mission, we stand for remembrance, awareness, and change. We fight stigma. We fight silence. We fight for those still battling and for the families who carry the weight of loss every single day.

On March 6th, we ask you to:

🖤 Display a black balloon
🕯 Light a candle
📣 Share a name
🤍 Spread awareness

Together we remember.
Together we fight.
Together we heal.

This past weekend our members of Kathy’s Place attended Revere’s Flip the Script Stop the Stigma event.

The Advocate captured this picture of the ladies enjoying the event. Did you know we are the only female sober home in the city of Revere?!
