LIHEAP is more than help with an energy bill—it’s a lifeline for individuals and families facing difficult choices between keeping their homes warm and paying for other basic needs.

Through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, NSCAP helps eligible households manage heating and energy costs, reduce the risk of energy emergencies, and maintain safe, stable homes.

Access to heat and energy shouldn’t be out of reach. Programs like LIHEAP help our neighbors stay safe, warm, and connected.

Thank you to Curly Girl Candy Shop. They supported NSCAP in the month of May. This month they are supporting NAGLY. Stop by, get some candy and buy a lollipop which supports nonprofits that directly serve the people in your community.

This week, Eileen from North Shore Community Action Programs stopped in to pick up the May Sweet Support donation. We didnt even plan it & we matched each other & the NSCAP logo!

Our 2026 tracker is inching up. Maybe June will give us a big bump. Remember, this Pride Month, our Sweet Support benefits NAGLY
