CAC will be out in the community this Monday!

We’re excited to participate in the Community-Minded Recovery Café Pasco Back to School Community Event!

Come by and enjoy community resource booths, FREE haircuts, refreshments, and more! Be sure to stop by the CAC table and say hello we’d love to see you and share information about resources available in our community. 💙

💙 Community is about showing up for one another.

This past weekend, CAC was grateful to participate in The Wash, an event that gave members of our community the opportunity to wash and dry their clothes for FREE.

Sometimes something as simple as clean clothes can bring a little comfort, dignity, and relief and that’s what makes events like this so meaningful.

Our own Jessica Sagdal and Sarah Benson were there representing CAC, connecting with community members, sharing resources, and most importantly, just being present.

We’re thankful for opportunities like The Wash that bring organizations and people together with one purpose: taking care of our community and making sure people know they are not alone.

Sometimes generosity has a way of growing.

We recently had an anonymous donor offer to provide a sofa for one of our JAG units. That act of kindness alone meant so much, but he didn't stop there.

He also brought us something pretty special: a jar filled with $5 bills totaling $1,000, with the hope that we could use it to help decorate our units and transform empty apartments into safe, welcoming spaces that feel like home.

There was something especially touching about receiving that jar. It wasn't just a donation it was a reminder that someone in our community believes in CAC's mission, believes in the work we're doing, and believes that the people we serve deserve a place that feels like their own.

A sofa, a lamp, a picture on the wall these little touches can mean so much to someone starting over. They bring comfort, dignity, warmth, and a sense of belonging.

To our anonymous donor, thank you for believing in CAC and for helping us turn an empty apartment into a home.

This is community taking care of community. 💙

💙 CAC in the Community! 💙

We love opportunities to get out into the community, connect with people, and share more about the resources available through Community Action Connections (CAC).

Yesterday, Gracie, Director of our Resource center, was out doing outreach at the library building connections, sharing information, and helping make sure community members know where they can turn when they need support.

Thank you, Gracie, for representing CAC and continuing to strengthen the relationships that help us better serve Benton and Franklin Counties. 💙

Yesterday, our Community Action Connections leadership team had the opportunity to visit BMAC and learn more about the incredible work they are doing in our community.

These opportunities to connect with community partners are invaluable. By learning from one another, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships, we become better equipped to serve our communities and support those who need us most.

Thank you to the BMAC team for your warm welcome, your hospitality, and for taking the time to share your knowledge and passion with us. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from your team and look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships that make a lasting impact.

Together, we can accomplish so much more. 💙
