We don’t have to wait for them to walk through our doors. We can go to where they are. ❤️
Over the past month, the North Carolina Hoving Home has been taking the love of Jesus into the streets of downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, one conversation, one prayer, and one lady at a time.
Street evangelism is about more than showing up. It’s about being willing to meet people where they are, sit beside them in the middle of their circumstances, listen without judgment, and remind them that Jesus has not forgotten them.
The ladies we encounter are more than their circumstances. They are more than addiction, homelessness, trauma, or the struggles they face today. They are women created in the image of God, deeply loved by Him, and worthy of the hope, healing, and freedom found in Jesus Christ.
Sometimes, sharing the Gospel looks like opening a Bible. Sometimes, it looks like offering encouragement. And sometimes, it looks like getting down on the ground beside someone, right where they are, and praying with them.
Jesus never required people to have their lives together before He met them with love. He went to the broken, the hurting, the overlooked, and the forgotten. As His hands and feet, we are called to do the same.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10 (NLT)
We believe restoration begins with the love of Christ, and we are grateful for every opportunity to carry that love beyond the walls of a building and into the streets of our community.
We may not know what tomorrow holds for each woman we meet, but we can make sure she knows this today: She is seen. She is loved. And her story is not over.
This is the heart behind the North Carolina Hoving Home. One Lady at a Time. ❤️
