Just In! After 20 years collecting from the Wilhelm Gustloff, I just found the first photo I've ever seen that shows the top of her forward staircase! Likely taken on the Sun Deck. My plans are packed away at the moment, so I can't exactly pinpoint the location.

*Update: This appears to be the rear staircase looking aft into passenger cabins, with a different set of stairs leading up to the Lower Promenade Deck.

Same seller, a new piece of junk! Noted as being from the Wilhelm Gustloff and belonging to the same steward as the corkscrew. This, in fact, is a Christofle silverware piece often attributed to the French Navy and likely produced well before the Gustloff was ever conceived.

Once again, someone took a random item, engraved the name of the ship and year on it, and tries to pass it off as real. I've messaged the seller twice regarding both items, but apparently, they do not care.

A quick Google search shows the exact same spoon without the engraving in antique shop in San Diego and two others from a different website.

Just appeared online and already 10 watchers and 3 bids. Another fake piece of junk with the name "Wilhelm Gustloff" incorrectly engraved on the side and the year 1938. I'll have to add this to the fake items section of the website next.

I'm sure this will end up selling to someone who knows nothing about the Gustloff counterfeit trade and they'll waste their money on something barely worth a few Euros.
