We’re pleased to announce that Brother Catalfamo has been released from shock trauma. We ask for continued thoughts and prayers for him and his family as he continues to recover. The fight continues, but today is a major victory!

Earlier today, a critical incident occurred involving one of our dedicated officers from the Pikesville Precinct. The situation is still developing, and we are working to ensure the officer and their family have all the immediate support they need.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this time. We will provide updates as more verified information becomes available.
Stay safe out there, and look out for one another.

"It didn't used to be like this, but it is now and we need serious change to stop it!"

President Doug Jess joined Baltimore County Executive candidate Nick Stewart for a press conference to address the shooting in the heart of Towson on Friday afternoon.

A violent crime at 3:30 PM in a high-traffic area surrounded by families and commuters is completely intolerable and should be treated as such.

The badge doesn't make us immune to what we see. After a tough shift or a critical incident, take a few minutes to check in on your brothers and sisters. A simple phone call, a text, or grabbing a cup of coffee can make all the difference. We are stronger together, but only if we look out for one another.

Today, the Fraternal Order of Police pauses to remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who laid down their lives for our freedom.

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder of the true cost of the liberties we hold dear. As law enforcement officers, we understand the weight of an oath to protect and serve. Many within our own ranks are military veterans, and today we stand united in grief and gratitude for the heroes who did not make it home.

To the Gold Star families in our community and across the nation: we see your sacrifice, we honor your loved ones, and we promise their legacies will never be forgotten.

Take a moment today to reflect, remember, and honor the fallen.

Today marks 8 years since we lost Officer Amy Caprio in the line of duty. We pause to honor her bravery, her ultimate sacrifice, and the lasting legacy she left behind in Baltimore County.

As we reflect on her service, we also hold her family in our hearts. Their sacrifice is one that never ends, and we recognize the immense courage they show every day in the face of such a profound loss.

Brothers and Sisters,

Our mission remains clear: to protect and support those who protect our community.

Every day, we are working to ensure that the men and women of the Baltimore County Police Department have the representation, resources, and respect they deserve.

Stay safe, stay strong, and know that Lodge 4 stands with you.
