No matter the person, the issues, the unexpected chaos, or if it is the 100th chance given. Love is why we are here! Love is the root of why we do what we do! It is why we come back day after day to see what positive we can spread into someone’s life.
Sometimes it’s just a small success, like getting a birth certificate for someone. Other times it is huge, like seeing the smile of a family’s face when moving them into their new home! ♥️
It is easy to see why “Love is THE Greatest of these” because honestly when it comes down to it, it truly is ALL that you need to greatly impact and help individuals. Thankful for Gods unfailing love for us. Sharing that same love to help change 1 life at a time! Love is why we’re are here!

Admiring the beauty around me this morning, my eyes keep being captured by the dead tree in the middle of all of the luscious greenery. I could not stop focusing in on it and appreciated how it actually adds a beauty of its own.
That must be how God sees us. When we are broken, dead inside, or down a path of hopelessness, he sees us. We stand out even greater to him among the beauty around us. He intently pours out his love, grace, and mercy upon us to nurture us back to how we were originally created to be.
This is much like what we aim to do at Latrobe Mission. We try to see the beauty beneath the brokenness, the potential beyond the addiction, the strength beyond the mental illness and lovingly, patiently nurture them back to life. We do not know what life did to get them there, but we do know “The One” who can turn it all around! ♥️🙌 so thankful to be a part of changing lives one life at a time! Grateful for a community that supports and has the same desire to see the beauty in each and every individual we encounter! God Bless you all, have a great Saturday!

The Praying Pelicans struck again!! They worked hard and blessed us incredibly!! Cleaned out and organized several rooms that needed it desperately! Completely reorganized our pantry! Throughly cleaned our bathrooms and served a meal! All of this in 2 days. It would have taken us weeks to do what they did!! Thank you SO much for your sacrifice of love and kindness to us all!!
We are grateful!! ♥️♥️♥️
As always, Thank you Eric Tucker for hosting and organizing such a great ministry for our community! They make a huge positive difference!

We can’t explain how much EVERY dollar makes a difference and how NEEDED it is!! A humongous thank you to the lady that came in this morning with a check for $350.00! We rely heavily on answered prayers to provide for us. Every dollar is an answered prayer. Every donation is an answered prayer. Every Volunteer is an answered prayer.
We are not just providing shelter, food, clothing, and hygiene products. We are providing resources, education, and skills needed to move forward to sustainable self sufficiency!
Please consider helping us to do what we do. We are helping our community and it takes the support of our community to make it happen!

Today we stop and recognize all that bravely did what many cannot, they purposely sacrificed their lives for us.
Everyday, we are grateful for each individual that laid down their life for our freedom in America!
We also remember Jesus Christ, who gave his life so we could have eternal hope!
We will we NEVER forget either sacrifice. ‘Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.’ — John 15:13
Thank you to all who have laid down their lives for us!! ♥️♥️♥️🙌🙌🙌
