I am in Parkersburg, West Virginia at the beginning or ending, depending on your point of reference of the Staunton and Parkersburg Turnpike. I will be following that route home to Scottsville Virginia. That turnpike was a continuation of the Staunton and Janes River Turnpike that ended in front of my house in Scottsville. Where I'm starting was also the terminus of the old Northwestern Turnpike that went back to Warrenton Virginia.
