🏆 SUMMER BUCKLE SERIES — AWARDS & VOLUNTEER HOURS UPDATE

Mother Nature definitely had other plans for us this summer! After the weather cancellations and looking at the remaining schedule, the Board has decided to officially conclude the Summer Buckle Series as a three-show season.

Here’s what you need to know to qualify for awards:

TWO (2) SHOW MINIMUM
You must have competed in at least 2 of our 3 shows to qualify.

VOLUNTEER HOURS
You must have completed 3 volunteer hours per award, with a maximum of 12 required hours per family.

Did you volunteer but forget to enter your hours on the 9/19 Show? We are extending the deadline to enter your hours online through September 29, 11 PM. Those hours need to match the sign-in sheet for verification.

👉 SUBMIT YOUR HOURS HERE:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScBeYRVg4Ewnl02Om6oeg1uBSLbIGG6VspTBUnn9ft8tG_uXg/viewform

NEED ADDITIONAL HOURS?
Volunteer hours may be purchased for $25 per hour, but you may purchase no more than HALF of the hours required for your award(s). These need to be purchased by September 29, 11 PM.

For example: If you need 6 hours, you must have worked at least 3 and may purchase the remaining 3.

Please make sure any outstanding hours are submitted so we can finalize the series results and awards!

It certainly wasn’t the season we expected weather-wise, but we are incredibly grateful to everyone who rode, volunteered, helped at the shows, and rolled with all the changes. 💙🐴

Thank you for another great Parker Trail Riders summer!

🌧️ TODAY’S SHOW IS CANCELED 🌧️

The City of Parker has closed the arena due to poor ground conditions. Unfortunately, it just didn’t dry out enough to safely ride, so today’s Summer Buckle Series show is canceled.

We are still working through what comes next. We haven’t yet determined whether we’ll be able to reschedule the final show or how we’ll handle series awards and volunteer hours based on the three shows we were able to run this season.

We’ll share those details as soon as the board have them worked out.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and continued support of Parker Trail Riders throughout the season.
Stay tuned for an update soon. 💙🐴

🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE: LATE START THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

Mother Nature has given us plenty of rain, so we’re giving the arena a little extra time to dry out before our final Summer Buckle Series show of the season!

Our first priority is making sure the arena is safe for our riders and horses. We’ll assess conditions first thing Saturday morning and make a GO / NO-GO decision by 7:00 AM.

Please check Facebook before you load up and head our way.

If we’re good to ride:
🐴 Office Opens: 9:00 AM
🏁 Show Starts: 10:00 AM

We really want to get this final show in and finish the season together, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the weather and arena cooperate!

Thank you for your patience and flexibility. We know weather changes can make planning tricky, and we appreciate everyone hanging in there with us.

Stay tuned Saturday morning for the final call. 🤞🐴
