Ready to knock some Christmas shopping off your list? Join us Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 3 pm at our campus, 17151 Pine Lane, for the second annual SECOR Cares Holiday Craft Fair!

All booths are run by guests of SECOR, and they keep every dollar of their sales with no booth fees thanks to the generous sponsorship of Wings Credit Union Colorado!

We’re known for our free food market, but we provide much more than food assistance – like digital literacy classes!

Ten people are going through an online class now, and once they pass four modules – basic computer skills, internet basics, email, and Windows 11 – they receive a free refurbished laptop!

Digital literacy is about opportunity. One guest who completed the course used his laptop to apply for a better job at the airport, and he got it! Another guest is now able to have video calls with his grandchildren in Europe.

Neighbors Don Reed and Elaine Benjamin live just outside Parker. From the outside, their lives look almost the same.

About two years ago, both found their way to SECOR Cares — Elaine as a volunteer and Don as a guest in need of groceries.

The proceeds that Parker resident and SECOR guest Marcia earned at last year’s SECOR Cares Holiday Craft Fair gave her a badly needed financial boost.

“I can’t tell you how much it helped me out,” Marcia said. “It helped me pay a bill that I wasn’t going to be able to pay.”

Marcia and other talented SECOR guests are ready for this year's craft fair, sponsored by Wings Credit Union Colorado, on Oct. 24.

It's , and we wish we had more toilet paper and nut butters in our free food market! Can you help? Please drop off these (or any other) items at our warehouse at 17151 Pine Lane in Parker on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 8 am and 1pm, or on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Thank you for helping keep our shelves stocked to help feed our neighbors!
