Our organization was initiated and designed to provide children along with their families an ideal fishing experience. Therefore, we go to great lengths to ensure the settings we create provide a model environment for a child’s introduction to all of the positive aspects of fishing. The joy of fishing can offer multitudes of different types of experiences, as it can be done alone or with any numbe

r of people and provides a chance to learn, relax, and even provide a meal for the family. It is an easy and cost effective way to develop bonds and friendships that last a lifetime. Fishing also promotes sportsmanship, ethics, and self responsibility. Reeled In For Life’s focus is to see that all of this gets done in the best possible way. We coordinate with government agencies and local vendors to make certain that participants are provided with all of the tools necessary to learn about their environment while giving parents a forum to successfully communicate to their children and teach them about life. During the course of one of our events, the participants attend an interactive educational seminar related to such issues as safety, etiquette, and marine environment. Once completed, they are escorted to the lake, where they receive close supervision and one-on-one instruction as needed. Lunch is included, and at the end of the day, the fishing gear and a commemorative t-shirt is theirs to keep. Reeled In For Life does all the work, and you have all the fun! One day of quality time with your children can be the beginning of a lifetime of fun and unforgettable experiences together.

Our July 19th event is complete! Every kiddo caught at least one fish, and everyone enjoyed despite the heat!! We will be posting pictures soon! Please let us know if you have any feedback for us!! Thanks again to all of our volunteers for all of your hard work. We couldn't do it without you!!

Hello everyone, just wanted to provide an update. We have completed both events for this year and we successfully taught over 100 kids how to fish! We've also broke the 200 likes mark here on Facebook! We are progressing a little each month. This is where you can help. Please spread the word about our organization and help us grow. As most of you know we are a non-profit organization and 100% of the funds we receive are donated from sponsors, family, friends, participants and even directly out of our Presidents pocket at times. We have filed for our 501(c)3 status and it is currently in the IRS system waiting to be assigned. We check on this status multiple times to see where we're at with obtaining our Non Exempt status. Once we receive that status, our fundraising should get a bit easier as we'll be able to talk to larger corporations about supporting our organization. In the meantime, we are trying raise funds for next years events. Believe me when I say that "every little bit helps!" Please share our page and website at www.reeledinforlife.org with all of your friends and family. There is a donation tab on our website and if you're able to and would like to help us grow please donate. We appreciate all of your support and look forward to another great year of creating life long Anglers!!!!
