Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸❤️

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to reflect on sacrifice, freedom, and the people who made it possible for us to gather with family, enjoy simple moments, and build communities rooted in love and hope.

At Bowey’s Helping Hands, we are especially grateful for the gift of community and the ability to serve others with compassion and purpose. 🫶🏼

Today, we’re holding close the families carrying the weight of loss while also celebrating the blessings of togetherness, sunshine, laughter, and moments that matter most.

This one tool changes everything for AMC families. 💜 For many children with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), something as simple as feeding themselves isn’t possible without help. Every meal requires assistance from a parent or caregiver - physically and emotionally.

But tools like the Obi feeder are changing that. 🙌🏻 The Obi is a robotic feeding device that allows children with limited mobility to eat independently - restoring confidence, dignity, and a sense of control in everyday life.

And this is exactly what we do at Bowey’s Helping Hands. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏼 We exist to support children with AMC, raise awareness, and provide access to adaptive technology that creates real, life-changing independence.

This mission may have started small - but it’s reaching families far beyond our community. 🌎

Bowey was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), a condition that affects joint mobility and muscle strength, but it doesn’t define her joy, her spirit, or the way she shows up in the world.

She reminds us daily that kids with AMC and physical disabilities are capable, strong, and full of life. With the right support, love, and adaptive tools, they can thrive, grow in independence, and experience everything childhood has to offer.

This is why Bowey’s Helping Hands exists—to support families, raise AMC awareness, and help provide life-changing resources that give kids more independence and confidence.
