I have a questionnaire I am going to link below. I would love for any Foster/Kinship parents (current or past) to take a few moments to answer a few questions. Or if you were in foster care as a child and would like to share your answers!

We have never been foster parents or foster children. We want to get input from those that have lived through these times. Our goal is to truly Bridge gaps, but we have to know and understand those gaps first 💛

Please, feel free to share this post! The more input, the better!

As we continue to build this resource, we’d love to go a little deeper to better understand your experience and needs. This questionnaire will help guide us and hopefully help us Bridge the gaps! We truly appreciate your time and honesty 💛

We are so excited about The Bridge Between Foster Closet and the Bridge Bag Program. Please understand, though, we work full-time and are not always available.

✨️Just a reminder, you are welcome to drop donations off at Old National in Paoli M-F 9a-4p! Even if I am off, the girls will happily accept them for us! ✨️

We have had so many people reaching out to see what items are needed ❤️

We will continue needing clothing. All sizes preemie-3x. In excellent condition or new.

Some items we require new such as socks, undergarments, swimwear.

We also want to have comfort items, bedding, pillows etc available for the children.

I created an Amazon WishList with an array of items and prices for those that want to help! I marked a few of the items that are higher priority.

We are so grateful to all those who have donated money, hangers, clothing, time, etc!! We appreciate you all so much!

We had our first intake event last night. We were blessed with an amazing group of volunteers ❤️

We unfortunately did not have any donations come in, but we got a lot accomplished during those 2 hours!

A huge thank you to Brandy Terrell Julia Hopper, Amy Doan, Raegan Wampler, Shawna Cox and family, and my girls! You are all amazing!

Also, HUGE thank you to Stevie Allen and her family and friends for all these amazing donations! We were able to get them all sorted and hung last night ❤️

We are having our next intake tomorrow, Saturday June 6th from 9am til noon!

We are accepting ALL clothing sizes in New or excellent condition, all sizes of shoes in great condition, diapers, wipes, and NEW socks and underwear in ALL sizes!!

Stop by tomorrow and see us and check out the space! We hope to see you there!

🏁 WE HAVE A WINNER! 🏁

The Undie 500 has officially crossed the finish line, and Dille's takes the checkered flag! 🏆

It took awhile to get all these amazing donations sorted (and counted!).

Together, our community donated an incredible 487 items for children in crisis. (And let's just say the number gets REALLY impressive if we start counting diapers individually! 😂)

While Dille's claimed the top spot, the real winners are the children who will receive brand-new essentials during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared posts, hosted collection boxes, and cheered on this race from the sidelines. What started as a fun competition became something much bigger: a community coming together to remind children that they matter.

A special Thank You to Dille's ( Pamela Van Ness Dille ), Hoosier Hills Credit Union, and Old National Bank!! You are all amazing! Considering the last minute decision, everyone really showed up and we appreciate your support greatly!

💙 Let's Talk About Comfort 💙

When you were a child, what was the one thing that made you feel safe?

Was it a favorite blanket? A stuffed animal? A special book? A nightlight? A person?

At OC Bridge of Hope, we spend a lot of time thinking about comfort. Not just clothes and necessities, but the little things that help a child feel safe during a difficult moment.

For a child entering foster care, experiencing a crisis, or facing an unexpected emergency, something as simple as a stuffed animal, cozy blanket, or familiar comfort item can make a world of difference.

We'd love to hear from you:

We are accepting new or like new clothing in all sizes!!

Help us get the racks filled so we can get The Bridge Between Foster Closet open 💛

💥 About our new or Like New request💥

We want this space to feel special and meaningful to the children utilizing it. We want them to see how much people really do care, especially when they're facing some of the hardest moments 💛

Used is perfectly fine as long as there are no holes, stains, smells or extensive wear.

Serving children 0-17 means we need all sizes! And each child has different style/taste, so having a variety is very welcomed!!

✨️We will not accept used undergarments or socks, these items must be new ✨️

We also accept diapers and wipes, crib sheets in great condition, and shoes in all sizes that are in excellent shape!

We want to thank everyone in advance that plans to donate or has already donated! This is moving along and getting closer to being what we anticipate becoming a valuable asset to our community ❤️

We are officially ready for our very first intake days for The Bridge Between! 💙

As we begin building this space for children entering foster care and crisis situations, we are accepting donations of:
✨ Clothing, shoes, baby items, and essentials in NEW or LIKE NEW condition
🧦 ONLY NEW socks and undergarments, diapers, wipes

📍 Intake Dates:
🗓 Thursday, June 4th | 5-7 PM
🗓 Saturday, June 6th | 9 AM-12 PM

📍 Location: We are the double white wooden doors to the RIGHT of the Blanton & Pierce office.

Every item donated helps restore dignity, comfort, and hope to a child during a difficult moment. Thank you for helping us build bridges of hope for children in our community. ❤️

Our first Pit Stops are LIVE and ready to start collecting NEW socks, underwear, diapers, and wipes for children right here in Orange County. 💙
Now it’s time to see which community can REALLY bring the heat. 🔥
