Thank you Orange County Community Foundation, Inc. for your support of our summer program.

The Orange County Community Foundation Inc. is proud to award a $1,000 grant to South Central Indiana Community Resources in support of its Summer Program.

The program serves at-risk students in grades 7-12 who are experiencing challenges related to behavior, attendance, academic performance, and social-emotional well-being. Through the summer program, students have the opportunity to stay engaged, build positive relationships, develop important skills, and receive support during a time when continued connection can make a meaningful difference.

We are proud to support South Central Indiana Community Resources and their commitment to helping local students overcome challenges and build a stronger foundation for success. Congratulations on this important work!

When a young person enters a Safe Place site seeking immediate help and safety, the process is simple:

• The young person informs one of the trained staff member they’re looking for help through Safe Place
• The young person is taken to a secure area, while the staff member contacts the local licensed Safe Place entity.
• A representative will arrive to meet with the youth and discuss/provide available resources.

Safe Place is designed to be accessible, responsive, and centered on providing immediate help and safety to young people.
