What a wonderful weekend at SALA 2026! 📚✨

We were thrilled to table at the South Asian Literature and Arts Festival at Menlo College and connect with so many members of our community.

We’re also incredibly proud to have supported one of the events celebrating Punjabi Sikh history, culture, and stories- Punjabi Sikh Voices: Stories of Migration, Identity, and Belonging. 💛

Thank you to SALA for bringing these important conversations and communities together!

Happy Birthday to the late Satinder Kaur Kapany! 💐✨

Today, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose vision and dedication helped bring the rich heritage of the Sikh community to a wider audience.

As the co-founder of the Sikh Foundation, Satinder Kaur Kapany played a vital role in initiating the Kapany Collection, one of the most significant collections of Sikh art, manuscripts, and historical artifacts outside of India.

We are grateful for her lifelong dedication to Sikh history, art, and culture, and for the lasting legacy she has helped create. 💛

Celebrating Satinder Ji on this special day and honoring the inspiration she continues to be for future Sikh generations! 🎉

Echoes and Aarti: A Century of Light ✨

Join us on October 18 at the Triton Museum of Art as we celebrate what would have been Dr. Narinder Singh Kapany’s 100th year with an evening of music, storytelling, and devotion.

Echoes of the Eternal brings together Ustad Homayoun Sakhi, globally acclaimed Rabab maestro, and Dr. Leena Singh Bedi, vocalist, Gurmat Sangeet scholar, and founder of Sikh Heritage Symphony. Together they carry the sacred sound of the Rabab and the spirit of Gurbani to the stage. 🙏🏽

Kaisii Aarti Hoey!! features Ishmeet Narula, Bay Area–based Punjabi singer and performing artist, and Kuljeet Singh, artist, academic, and Creative Director of Atelier Theatre, New Delhi. Through music and storytelling, they explore Guru Nanak’s vision of Ik Onkar, the oneness of all creation.

Two performances, four artists, one evening honoring a century of light.
