💜DOTTIE’S DAUGHTERS COMMUNITY UPDATE💜

Our hearts are FULL!

Since January, Dottie’s Daughters has served more than 200 families in our community with groceries, daily essentials, household goods, and a little extra support when it was needed most.

And we’re just getting started

🥫 GROCERY PROGRAM UPDATE
Our grocery delivery program is currently on hold while we work toward securing a new location and upgrading our refrigeration system to include deep-freeze storage. As our food donations continue to grow, having the proper space and equipment will allow us to safely accept MORE donations, store more food, and ultimately serve more families.

🎄 HOLIDAY HELP IS COMING BACK!
We are gearing up for our THIRD YEAR of Holiday Help! 🎁

Families will once again have the opportunity to apply for assistance, including holiday gifts for children ages 18 and under.

🧙‍♀️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE BEWITCHING MISFITS!

We are SO stoked and incredibly grateful to the Bewitching Misfits for “adopting” Dottie’s Daughters as their nonprofit! They’re helping us raise funds, collect food, and just as importantly, bring more awareness to serve more families.

They’ll continue performing throughout the Fall season, so stay tuned for opportunities to come out, support them, have some fun, and support Dottie’s Daughters at the same time!

🛍️ WE’RE HEADING BACK TO THE MARKET!
Dottie’s Daughters will also be returning to local markets this Fall! Dates and locations will be shared as soon as they are confirmed.

🏡 OUR BIGGEST GOAL RIGHT NOW: A NEW HOME FOR DOTTIE’S DAUGHTERS.

A new location would mean more food storage, more donations, more programs, and most importantly serving more families!

We are currently welcoming:

We need our community 🤍

In a few short months, we have already outgrown our current space, which holds items for our families when they have a need, they are able to shop for free. While growing rapidly is such a blessing, it also means we need your help again.

Our vision is bigger than where we are right now. We are working to create a safe, welcoming space where our single-mother families can:
✨ Shop donated items with dignity
✨ Access consistent food support
✨ Gather for workshops, resources, and connection
✨ Feel seen, supported, and empowered

But we cannot build this without YOU!

We are looking to raise $10,000 to secure a new, larger space to begin creating what will become a community thrift, workshop hub, and food pantry for our families.

Every dollar, every share, every connection matters. This isn’t just about a building; it’s about creating a foundation of support for mothers who are doing their best every single day.

• Lunch kits (shelf stable only - canned tuna, chicken, etc)
• Dinner kits (hamburger helper, suddenly salad, etc)
• Cereal
• Nut butters and jelly (peanut, almond, sunbutter, etc)
• Snacks (chips, crackers, packaged fruit cups, etc)
• Canned foods

At Dottie’s Daughters, we are committed to showing up for families when they need it most—but right now, we’ve hit a barrier we can’t overcome alone.

We are in urgent need of:
✨ A refrigerator to safely store fresh and perishable food
✨ A temperature-controlled delivery van to ensure families receive groceries safely and consistently

Without these, we are limited in how much we can give and how many families we can reach.
