This Memorial Day, we're deeply honored to share something deeply personal: Frank's music video "The Green Hills of Normandy," filmed during our journey to this sacred ground where so many brave souls made the ultimate sacrifice. 🎖️

We've had the privilege of housing countless veterans at Kate's House Foundation—men and women who've served our country and now deserve a safe place to heal and rebuild. They come home carrying wounds both seen and unseen, and we believe every single one deserves a welcoming home, steady support, and a community that never gives up on them.

Frank and Yenilen were recently at South Seattle Community College's re-entry fair, connecting with folks who are ready for their next chapter. 🏡 These events matter because they meet people exactly where they are—at that pivotal moment when safe housing can change everything.

Kate’s House Director of Housing Operations, Yenni was making a repair at our Yellow House. A new resident was wearing sweats - the same clothes he had been released in days earlier. Yenni called a former resident, Sheila, who works at South Seattle College.

Sheila provided new clothing for our newest residents in their sizes. This is the power of empathy, lived experience and first hand knowledge of our values. The greatest gift is restoring dignity.

Our team came from our program and now do big things for those who follow. We witness love and compassion every day.

Meet Our Team! Kate is our Housing Specialist and the reason behind the mission. She provides support to residents, helps guide housing decisions, and works with clients on data collection studies that help the team learn, improve, and keep innovating. She is an expert on issues in housing and provides her wise counsel to our team and clients. We are incredibly proud of my daughter, Kate!

We absolutely flourish because of our relationships. Yeni is Kates House Foundation Director of Operations. In this role, she repairs, paints, handles contractors and brings her skills as an Ironworker and a tradesperson to our housing. Thomera is our former Director of Community Relations. She is so awesome that she jetted into the stratosphere into a new role in the state. We could not be prouder to have our team. These two fine people have painted three of our homes when we acquired them!

Kyle is our Project Manager and a House Lead. He is an incredible asset to our clients. He is a peer mentor and performs weekly inspections of all of our Kates House homes. That means every nook and cranny is reviewed for safety, cleanliness and checking for anything that needs doing. While Kyle is visiting our 8 homes, he is checking in with clients, providing resources and a listening ear. Totally grateful to have Kyle in our life!

Every great remodel requires demo. We put in a new kitchen and laundry room in our new Kate's House for Moms and kids. The good folks at are always first on my speed dial! Plus cleaning at scale is so much fun!

Frank and Sherri own all of Kate's House Foundation homes. It allows us to maintain our high quality standards. We had one of those weeks this month. The house on the left is our newest house. While remodeling this new acquisition, we found we needed to replace a sewer line. Our veterans house on the right was scheduled for a new roof. We had heavy equipment at two houses at once. It happens!
