This important gathering addressed the urgent need to end violence in our communities, including violence against children. Today at HopeAlive268, our Saturday tutoring was about more than academics. Alongside supporting students in their studies, we also spoke with them about su***de prevention, knowledge that may one day help them personally, or equip them to support someone else who is struggling.

Our program is not only about scholastic outcomes, but also about mental well‑being and preparing young people for whatever life may bring. Siboniso did a great job teaching about su***de awareness and prevention, reminding everyone that their lives matter, as well as the lives of those around them.

At HopeAlive268, we recently visited a primary school to teach children about the importance of reporting abuse of any kind. While we addressed all forms of abuse, we placed a strong emphasis on sexual abuse, ensuring the children understood how precious they are, how much they deserve to be safe, and how vital it is for them to feel free to simply be children.

Awareness empowers, and these conversations help protect the most vulnerable. Every child deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to grow without fear.

We are thankful to the Jerome family (former missionaries to Swaziland) for visiting HopeAlive268 and accompanying us to a local primary school, where we shared with the children an important lesson on reporting abuse.

The Jerome family also blessed our office with books, candies, and fidget toys (to be used in trauma boxes), resources that will help us continue supporting children in need.

One child, enjoying the bubble gum, exclaimed with delight: “Yoh, this chappies is very big and very nice!”

Today we conclude our 7 Days of Prayer, a united stand against the demonic evil and darkness preying upon children and communities across Eswatini.

We share with you a beautiful hand‑drawn picture based on Psalm 91:11: “For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” The artwork, created by local artist Lindani Swazi Art, depicts a Swazi Warrior Angel standing guard over children as they play, with the Lubombo mountain range stretching across the background. This powerful piece speaks louder than words ever could. We thank Lindani for this gift, and if anyone would like the artist’s contact number, please message us directly.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all who joined us in prayer, and to those whose hearts were stirred to donate to the Children in Crisis division of HopeAlive268. Our plea is this: do not stop praying. Continue daily, as we have prayed this past week, for protection, justice, and restoration for Eswatini’s children.

Together, we will not remain silent. Together, we will continue to stand in prayer until every child is safe.
