eady to 'graduate' with continued business success. Headquartered in the former Schweizer Aircraft building at the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport in Chemung County. This newly renovated facility provides 45,000 square feet of flexible manufacturing space and supporting services to start or expand your business. It boasts up to 40' of high bay space, office and lab space, easy truck access and parking space and state of the art high tech services including 3-phase electric, compressed air, and high-speed broadband Internet access. The Alfred Campus includes is a 30,000 sq. ft., two-story multi-tenant technology facility subdivided into individual suites for office and laboratory space suitable for R&D or light manufacturing. Located within one mile of Alfred University, this facility is the ideal location for a partnered or assisted venture with the CACT Center and member affiliates. The Corning campus includes a 40,000 sq. ft., multi-tenant technology facility subdivided into individual suites for office and laboratory space suitable for R&D or light manufacturing. This facility has easy access to the intersection of I-86 and I-99.

We were impressed by the creativity, determination, and growth our entrepreneurs demonstrated throughout the program and during their final pitches. Congratulations to Cheryl Cocoran, who took home the $500 prize with her business Core Cleaning Solutions.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Summer Youth Entrepreneurship Program at IncubatorWorks!

This four week summer program is designed for 10th and 11th grade Elmira High School students who want to explore careers, connect with local entrepreneurs, and build real world skills for the future. Students will visit local manufacturers, businesses, and colleges while learning how to pitch ideas, think creatively, and plan for life after high school.

Participants will also receive a stipend while they learn and grow throughout the program.

Program Dates: July 6th through July 31st, 2026
Orientation is the evening of July 1
Location: 318 Madison Ave, Elmira

We’ll be attending Vitality in the Valley: Farm to Factory this June in Herkimer.

This event brings together agriculture, food, beverage, and manufacturing businesses from across New York State to connect and explore new opportunities.

FLX Gateway will be there sharing information about the Schuyler County Business Park, a REDI Site – Gold location ready for food manufacturing and agricultural processing.
