We FINALLY heard from the last test for the cancer that Gayron "papa Ferg" has. The chances of me dying from this in the next 10 years is higher than before, but still low enough to AT THIS TIME, aggressively watch it. In other words, more frequent doctor visits to keep track of where it's going. In a year another biopsy to make the final decision. My doctor is NOT knife happy which makes ME happy LOL. He wants to do what's best not what makes the most money for him. It's hard to find a surgeon like that. Dr Spicer is a good one who happens to also be a true believer in Jesus Christ. I am still praying that God will see fit to remove this completely.

Update on Gayron "papa Ferg's" cancer. The doctor said that he recommended to "aggressively "WATCH" it and come back every 6 months to do a follow-up then biopsy each year. It's borderline doing treatment but IF it will remain as is, nothing may have to be done over the next 10 years. I'm very pleased with what we've found. Thank you to everyone who actually stopped for a few seconds to say a prayer and ask for God's intervention.

I want to share this email I just got from one of our chaplains overseas. YOU help to make this happen. YOU are the reason we can do this for our deployed:

Papa Ferg & Hugs Project of Western Kentucky Team,

Thak you for the box we received. It is a tremendous blessing. I wish I could say more about why this is but just know that it came at a critical time and is a joy to the Service Members who will receive its contents.

I am the senior chaplain and want to take a moment to express my gratitude for all of the kindness that this organization brings. We have shelves in the ministry center here at the chapel and volunteers put these items out for Service Members to come by and take what they need.

I will not be here for long so please just put chaplain on the box and we will deliver it where they can be best used.

Again, thank you. Thank you for the time, money, effort & personal touch that each of you add to these boxes. Some do not get mail and or anything from home so when they come in and get a thank you note and a taste from home it is because of you the volunteer, who took time to think of us who are serving far from home.

It means so much. Words cannot express my gratefulness so I will end with thanks for all you do, your sacrifice and labor of love is seen, felt and appreciated.

V/r,

Kip

Got the call from my cancer doctor and it was not ALL bad. BUT, the cancer is worse than it was so additional test has to be run. It will take about 2 weeks to get the results and then we can decide what treatment is going to be done. I'm asking everyone who really does pray, to stop for 15 seconds and say a quick prayer that God will bless me with good health. I'm working on letting go and letting God. Yeah, with cancer it's easier said than done LOL. But I will be in prayer tonight for God to not only heal me, but for peace and for His comfort as only He can give. This is NOT considered a life and death type of situation, but who likes the idea of cancer no matter where or what kind? Much love to all my friends who are willing to take that 15 seconds. OH, and if you want to do it once a day for the next 2 weeks, I'm not gonna stop ya LOL. Gayron "papa Ferg"
