One of my favorite pictures of Clare in her Mustang. This was our last Wildhorse Mustang Club car shows in 2019 before Covid hit. She cannot fit in that car now. But we still have the car. She loved riding around in it.

Whole new breed…

Hoping all is safe and well. It’s been tuff getting the club going again. Just checking in to see if anyone is interested in getting together for a cruise when the weather gets better. There are some cruise ins coming up in April. Would be nice to go as a club and park together. We can always meet up somewhere to eat at chat. Let me know if interested. Since we announced that this would be our last year doing Mustang Week, we’ve heard from a lot you hoping for the event to continue. Well, we are happy to say that we have found a partner that will save the event and allow it to continue. Plan to see us next year from September 4-10th in Myrtle Beach, SC, with the car show being held at Myrtle Beach Mall. The original staff will be involved in making sure the event transitions to the new group, who wishes to keep the same feeling as years past and retain whatever staff is interested in continuing. Mustang Cruise to Barkley Dam then back to downtown Paducah. Ethan and Rustang Magness joined in for a little while. Met at Noble Park and met some really nice people. We talked about getting the club back together. Gonna pick a place and time to meet to have a meeting soon. Yay!!

Update on our 2 fellas.
Russ got the results and it’s not cancer. Thanks for all the prayers.

Brian had another surgery today and did well. He’s on the road to recovering and will be driving his Mustang soon so watch out. Again thanks for praying.

Russ thought he was having an appendicitis last week and went to the ER. the CT scan showed a mass on his colon 11cm which is about 4 inches. Not appendix. He had a colonoscopy yesterday and the doctor said it was spongy and soft so she thinks it’s not cancer but has sent off a biopsy to confirm. We will know late next week the results. He sees a surgeon today 8/30. It’s been a whirl wind of emotions. We are praying it’s just a spongy mass and not cancer.

Brian has had 2 back surgeries and has another one to go tomorrow 8/31. He’s in a lot of pain and in the hospital. He needs prayer for a full recovery and for the pain to subside. He and Rae Ann need prayers to get through all this.

We love our mustang family and know there will be prayers for these two guys so that they can continue to enjoy life and driving their Mustangs.

On the other hand there is a Mustang cruise this Saturday September 3 starting at Noble park in Paducah. I will post the info. Y’all have fun and be safe.
