Healing Projects is partnering with local
schools to support students who are experiencing homelessness. Imagine as a student if you had the pressures of every other student…worrying about studying for a test or turning in assignments on time, yet you weren’t even sure where you would be sleeping tonight?

We CAN make a difference in these young lives by giving them one less thing to worry about by meeting some of their most basic needs…toiletries, undergarments, and coats for these cold winter days. HP has published a Wish List based on the current needs of this vulnerable student population as shared with us by the school districts. Join Dawson Springs as they celebrate the recovery of their town! In 2021, Dawson Springs and the local surrounding towns and counties faced an EF-4 tornado and also sustained damage in the tornado just last month. Both incidents were deadly and caused widespread damage to homes and properties. Despite this, the town of Dawson Springs and many helpers were determined to push through and now celebrates the recovery and rebuilding of their town! Including Friends of Healing Projects by helping to purchase new playground equipment for the community.

As 2023 draws to a close, We humbly ask that you consider supporting the work of Healing Projects as we serve neighbors in need locally and globally. We continue to serve in the ongoing rebuilding efforts of the communities devastated by the December tornadoes of 2021.

Our most exciting project coming up in 2024 is the rebuilding of a playground for the community of Dawson Springs, KY, which was lost to the massive tornado that ripped through homes and lives. We are so humbled and honored to announce the funds were fully raised by Healing Projects with a matching grant from Little Tykes, as well as help from our friends at Bluegrass Recreation Sales and Installation to complete this project! The equipment was ordered this year and has arrived and will be installed this spring!! 🌼🌱

Sunday, December 17th, we will be hosting a Christmas Prayer Service at 5:30 pm at Healing Covenant Church. We will have refreshments, worship, and a special service focused on prayer—especially for those in need of healing physically, emotionally, or spiritually. We would love to see you there! 🌟

🌟A FREE toy shop will also be open for you to pick up gifts for your own kids or to share with someone who might be in need of gifts for their kids this holiday season.
