💔 SIX HOSPICE FOSTERS… AND WE NEED YOUR HELP. 💔
French Bulldog Village has always believed that every dog deserves to know they are loved, especially at the end of their life. ❤️
Right now, FBV has SIX hospice foster dogs in our care. Six dogs who, for one reason or another, have been dealt an incredibly unfair hand. They may not have much time left, but that doesn't mean their remaining days should be filled with fear, loneliness, or wondering if they matter.
They matter. Every single one of them. 🐾
Hospice care doesn't mean we stop caring for them medically. Quite the opposite. These precious dogs still need medications, veterinary visits, bloodwork, special diets, supplements, pain and comfort management, and sometimes emergency care. And beyond the medical bills, they need the simple things that make life feel good again:
🛏️ A soft place to sleep
🍗 Tasty meals and special treats
💊 Medications and supportive care
❤️ Endless love and attention
🌤️ Sunny spots, sniffing adventures & cozy naps
🏡 A safe foster home where they can simply be a dog
Some of these dogs may have weeks. Some may have months. We don't know.
What we do know is that we will not give up on them simply because their time is limited.
But six hospice dogs means six ongoing medical expenses — and those bills add up quickly. FBV is a small, all-volunteer rescue, and we rely entirely on the generosity of people who believe, as we do, that every life is worth fighting for and every ending deserves to be beautiful.
