A recent collection box clearance revealed generous donations of eyeglasses and hearing aids, for which we express our heartfelt thanks. These donated items will be repurposed and distributed to those in need.

Several new reading glasses will be included in our back to school shopping event.

The worn flags will be respectfully handled by our friends at Ovid VFW Post 8964.

This community shines brightly!

Our heartfelt thanks go to the Ovid VFW Post 8964 for leading the tribute to our nation's heroes and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Ovid DPW's behind-the-scenes work on Friday and today was invaluable. Thank you also to the Ovid PD for their support!

The Ovid-Elsie Band's music added a special touch, and our joint luncheon with Ovid Carriage Days was well attended by over 100 community members.

We're deeply thankful for the volunteers who gave their time and energy today: Deb, Mary, Heather, Evra, Renae, Rhett, Dan, Connie, and Gary.

Join our friends with the Elsie Lions Club TONIGHT at 6:00 pm for their 32nd annual Wild Game Dinner.

This will be held at the Elsie Legion Hall. Bring a wild or tame dish to pass and your own place setting. Potatoes, rolls, milk and coffee will be provided.

Raffles for adults and children.

Mr Everett Smith will be the guest speaker for the event.
