Calling all young builders, adventurers, and survival experts ages 5-13 for an action-packed Pixel Quest themed event! Dress in your pixel best, create your own pixel tools, mine for diamonds, and work together in epic building and survival challenges. Best of all, snacks are included!

In observance of Juneteenth, our YMCA will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Texas learned of their freedom - more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. It became a federal holiday in 2021 and is recognized as an important day to honor freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

We will be closed so our employees can celebrate Freedom Day and spend time with their families, friends, and communities.

Today we celebrated a very special milestone at the Oswego YMCA as our Little Learners Pre-K students graduated!

We are so proud of all they have learned, the friendships they have made, and the confidence they have gained throughout the year. Congratulations to our graduates and their families on this exciting achievement!

Looking for summer fun and learning opportunities? Our Summer Kinder Camp registration is now open! Give your child a summer filled with learning, friendships, activities, and fun.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Oswego YMCA!

Today, our Active Older Adult members enjoyed a fun-filled Bingo Lunch complete with great food, lots of laughs, exciting games, and plenty of prizes. It was another reminder that the Y is so much more than a gym - it’s a place where friendships are built and community thrives.

Meet Pam, our Member Engagement Coordinator!

When Pam joined the Oswego YMCA over 20 years ago, it quickly became a meaningful part of her life. Soon after becoming a member, she began volunteering as a piyo instructor and later spent five years serving on the YMCA Board of Directors before stepping into the role of Membership Coordinator. After a brief time away, Pam returned to the Y in 2024 as our Member Engagement Coordinator.

We’re grateful to have friendly faces like Pam helping make the Oswego YMCA feel like home for our members and families.

Happy YMCA Founders Day!

The first YMCA in the United States was established in Boston in 1851, making this year the 175th anniversary of the YMCA movement in America. Today, we celebrate a remarkable legacy of strengthening communities, supporting youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility.

We are especially proud that the Oswego YMCA has been serving the Oswego community since 1855, providing a place where individuals and families can learn, grow, connect, and thrive.

Thank you to the generations of staff, volunteers, members, donors, and community partners who have helped carry this mission forward. Together, we continue building a stronger, healthier, and more connected future for all.

A special thank you to Officer Costello from the Oswego Police Department for stopping by today to visit our Little Learners at the Oswego YMCA!

Our Little Learners program provides children with an introduction to Pre-K through hands-on experiences, learning through play, and engaging activities that build early literacy, math, art, music, STEAM, physical education, and social skills. As our current class prepares to graduate in just a few weeks, we're proud of all they have learned and accomplished!

The learning and fun don't stop there. This summer, children can continue growing, exploring, and making new friends in our Early Learning & Enrichment Kinder Camp Summer Program. Each week features a unique theme designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence in a fun and inclusive environment.
