We believe in building the youth of our community into strong leaders of the future through teamwork, dedication, sacrifice and community involvement. We are not only here to teach the sport of football and cheer but to build character and promote good sportsmanship.

Our hearts are with the Diaz family as they grieve the heartbreaking loss of a beloved husband and father. Though their days on our football field and cheer sidelines may be behind them, they will always be part of our Thunderbird family.

There are no words that can ease a loss this deep, but we hope they feel surrounded by love and know they are not alone. Please join us in keeping the Diaz family in your thoughts and prayers—for comfort, strength, and peace as they navigate the days ahead.

Please have your tickets printed or ready on your phone for entry. Each ticket includes all-day admission, so you can stay as little or as long as you’d like!

🚗 Street parking is free on Sundays. There are also several paid parking lots around the convention center.

🌸 Concessions, flowers, and event merchandise will be available.

🏅 There will be four award sessions throughout the day.

❤️🖤 TBIRD FAMILY — PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYER 🖤❤️

Our Las Plumas Jr. Thunderbirds family is sending our thoughts and prayers to Paradise Police Sergeant Alvies, the juvenile, and the other adult who were injured in the serious collision early Saturday morning. 🙏🏼💙

This accident hits especially close to home, as the juvenile injured is one of our very own Tbird football players family. When one of our athletes family is hurting, our entire Tbird family hurts with them. ❤️🖤

Our hearts are heavy knowing that multiple lives and families were impacted in a matter of seconds. We are praying for healing, strength, comfort, and peace for each person injured and for their families as they navigate the days ahead.

We are incredibly thankful for the law enforcement officers, first responders, medical teams, and everyone who immediately stepped in to provide care when it was needed most.

Moments like this remind us that we are more than different towns, teams, departments, or organizations — we are ONE community. When members of our community are hurting, we rally around them.

From our entire Tbird family, please keep our Tbird athlete, Sergeant Alvies, the other injured adult, and all of their families in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏼❤️🖤💙

The Las Plumas Jr. Thunderbirds organization sends our deepest love, prayers, and support to the Oroville Rhinos and the Jones family as they face an unimaginable and tragic loss.

On the field, we may wear different colors. We may stand on opposite sidelines and compete as two different teams—but when something like this happens, none of that matters.

We are one community. One football family. And today, we stand together.

Our hearts are with the Jones family, every athlete, coach, parent, and member of the Rhinos organization as they grieve and process this heartbreaking loss.

From our Thunderbird family to our Rhino family, please know you are surrounded by a community that loves you, is praying for you, and is standing beside you during this incredibly difficult time.

Football and Cheer families, it’s almost time! Please save this schedule and plan accordingly as we prepare for an incredible 2026 season.

🔥 HELL WEEK

⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

📣 Beginning July 13
Mandatory Practice
📅 Monday–Thursday
⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

📣 Beginning August 11
📅 Tuesday–Thursday
⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

🏆 Playoff Season
If our teams advance to playoffs, practice will return to:

This schedule will remain in effect until our season concludes.

⚠️ Attendance is extremely important. Every practice helps our athletes grow individually and as a team. Please plan appointments, vacations, and other commitments around the practice schedule whenever possible.

We can’t wait to see everyone back on the field and on the sidelines as we kick off another amazing Thunderbird season!
