We believe in building the youth of our community into strong leaders of the future through teamwork, dedication, sacrifice and community involvement. We are not only here to teach the sport of football and cheer but to build character and promote good sportsmanship.

Today, one of our Las Plumas Junior Thunderbirds 10U football players was involved in an accident and is currently receiving care at UC Davis Medical Center.

We ask our entire Thunderbird family and community to lift him, his family, and everyone caring for him up in prayer during this difficult time. Please pray for strength, comfort, healing, and peace as they navigate the days ahead.

Our hearts are with this young athlete and his loved ones. We stand together as one Thunderbird family and will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

The countdown to football season is on! Check out our official 2026 Gameday Schedule and mark your calendars now. 📅

🏈 8/23 vs. Colusa is a Sunday game
🎗️ 9/26 Breast Cancer Awareness Game
🌟 10/10 Under the Lights Night featuring our 14U team. Games this night start at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm
🏆 Playoffs begin 10/31

Football preseason workouts are continuing, and Cheer preseason workouts are officially kicking off!

Join us throughout June as we prepare for an exciting 2026 season. All workouts are open to the public and a great opportunity to build skills, conditioning, confidence, and team spirit.

🎓❤️ Congratulations to Our 8th Grade Thunderbirds! ❤️🎓

This week, we celebrate a special group of athletes as they take the next step in their journey and graduate from 8th grade.

To our Las Plumas Junior Thunderbirds athletes: we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. We have watched you grow not only as athletes, but as leaders, teammates, and young men and women of character. Your hard work, dedication, perseverance, and commitment have left a lasting impact on our program.

As you move on to high school and new opportunities, know that you will always be a part of the Thunderbird family. Continue to chase your goals, work hard, and believe in yourselves. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

Cheer fees for the Las Plumas Junior Thunderbirds are now DUE! 📣
Uniform and cheer orders will be going out ASAP, so please make sure your cheer fees are paid as soon as possible to avoid any delays.

🏈 Football fees are due this coming Monday, June 1st!
Please make sure football fees are turned in so jerseys can be ordered on time as well.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need to make arrangements, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Communication is always appreciated!
