It takes serious coordination to process thousands of pounds of food every month. From offloading regional delivery trucks to staging weekly food orders for our local partner sites, our warehouse team stays busy keeping the distribution pipeline moving smoothly.

Strengthening community food access together!

We are excited to highlight an incredible collaboration between the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, the French Family Food Bank, and Faith Lutheran Church in Chico!

Through this strategic partnership, we are bringing a direct food distribution twice a month directly to the Chico community. By combining regional food sourcing with our local warehouse logistics and Faith Lutheran’s local outreach, we’re making sure fresh produce and pantry staples get straight into the hands of families who need them most.

Working together means a stronger supply chain, better access, and more nourished neighbors! 🧡📦

Did you know French Family Food Bank also partners with a local community garden? 🌽🌻

Rescued food is an important part of what we do, but it’s not the only way we help provide food to our community! Through our partnership with a community garden, we’re able to provide fresh, locally grown produce to our partner agencies throughout the region.

From farm-fresh greens to seasonal fruits and vegetables, this partnership helps us make nutritious, quality food available to the individuals and families our partner agencies serve. 🥬🍅

We’re grateful for partnerships like this that allow us to work together to nourish our community with fresh, wholesome food!

As local kids gear up to head back to the classroom, keeping cupboards stocked with nutritious food is top priority.

A huge thank you to our partners at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano/Feeding America! Thanks to the partnership with local donors our distribution warehouse is stocking essential pantry items, kid-friendly staples, and breakfast items to supply local partner sites.

Today is National Nonprofit Day!

Did you know? The French Family Food Bank operates as a central distribution center for local hunger relief!

We receive large-scale loads from regional food bank partners and retail distribution channels, manage storage and staging in our warehouse, and supply food directly to local distribution pantries—including Mount of Olives Food Bank at The Father's House Church.

By taking care of the supply chain behind the scenes, we make sure our community's local pantries stay fully stocked every week. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission!

Thanks to your incredible generosity during Grocery Outlet’s annual Independence from Hunger® drive, our shelves at the French Family Foodbank are packed!

Every single $5 donation, rounded-up change, and pre-packed food bag made a direct impact. Seeing all of these groceries come through our doors means so many local NorCal families will have nutritious food on their tables.

This week, we’re grateful to highlight Tim and the heart he brings to the work at French Family Food Bank.

For Tim, serving in the food bank distribution warehouse has become more than a task. It has become a meaningful way to serve others and reflect the love of Jesus in everyday life.
