Let’s make sure everyone feels supported, because it takes all kinds of colors to make a beautiful picture, and a compassionate community to hold us all together.

Pacific Coast Producers is official community partner for the Oroville Resource Center and Rescue Mission. This AMAZING grower-owned cooperative supports our efforts to tackle local hunger, homelessness, and addiction.

• Food Bank Donations: As a major agricultural canning company, Pacific Coast Producers regularly donates canned fruits, tomatoes, and other shelf-stable foods to help supply the thousands of meals our mission serves to unhoused individuals and families.

• Facility Expansion Support: They actively collaborate with our mission and local agencies like the Oroville Police Department to help fund and support the expansion of local shelters and assistance networks, such as tour Mission Esperanza permanent housing project.

• Public and Holiday Events: They frequently partner with us to put on seasonal events and holiday public gatherings for community members in need.

• Local Thrift Store and Drive Support: They help sponsor and participate in community drives that benefit our mission’s Bird Street Thrift Store, whose retail proceeds directly fund local recovery programs.

Say hi to Dawn! She is an active part of our Recovery Work Program, and she is SO amazing. ❤️

She says: "I’m just incredibly grateful for everybody here, especially Annie. Her and her husband helped me out so much, they saved my life, and I see all of them saving others on a daily basis. Now I volunteer however I can, today I’m doing all the bedrolls for the guests that will arrive tonight. Everyone should take a minute to volunteer here, it’s extremely personally fulfilling.

She continues: "I’ve seen so many great changes over the past few years. So many more services and resources I really enjoy going to the group meetings that connect science with religion. It’s very cool, educational and helpful. And I love seeing people arrive, go through the systems and graduate to a new healthy life."

Like so many of our guests
she always looked down.

Always. Even when talking with others.
Trauma, addiction, and poor self esteem
can be roots of so many disorders.

After a month she started
to look up at the sky a lot
to visualize her future.

Excellent. We love this moment.
Our neighbors come out of the fog.
And ready for change!
We patiently wait. 🙏💙
