Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. Now in our 25th year, we are Central Florida’s first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for homeless men, women and families. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corporation, we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neig

hbors through our “housing first” philosophy. Today, more than 600 residents receive safe, dignified housing and the supportive services of a team of social workers to help them stay housed. Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.

As temperatures rise across Central Florida, many of our neighbors experiencing homelessness face the daily challenges of extreme heat, sun exposure, and unpredictable weather.

We're currently collecting the following items for those we serve:

A simple donation can provide comfort, protection, and dignity to someone facing the elements.

As National Military Appreciation Month comes to a close, we're committed to serving veterans year-round through programs and services that help them achieve long-term housing stability.

Through our No Buddy Left Behind program, veteran volunteer groups work alongside our outreach team to connect unhoused veterans with housing solutions. And, we’re excited to share that our Veteran Penthouse Suites are currently under construction, providing even more housing options for our community.

We are proud to serve and honor those who served us. 💜

Florida has the second-highest number of unhoused veterans in the nation.

It's why the work of connecting them to housing and wraparound support services is so critical in Central Florida.

This Memorial Day, Pathlight HOME’s No Buddy Left Behind Program pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

We remember their courage, their service, and the lives they gave to protect our freedoms. Today, and every day, we are grateful for those who never made it home.

May we continue to honor their legacy by supporting the veterans in our community with dignity, compassion, and hope.
