On behalf of the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce (GHACC), we extend our heartfelt thoughts, prayers, and appreciation to Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and his family during this time.
As Mayor Demings enters his final year of service to Orange County, we want to recognize and celebrate his remarkable legacy of leadership, service, and dedication to the people of Central Florida. Throughout the years, he has been a champion for economic development, small businesses, and diverse communities, helping create opportunities that have positively impacted countless families and entrepreneurs, including many within the Haitian-American community.
Mayor Demings has led with integrity, vision, and a genuine commitment to bringing people together. His partnership with organizations like GHACC has strengthened our community and helped elevate the voices of local businesses across our region.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Val Demings and the entire Demings family for sharing such an extraordinary leader with our community for so many years. Public service requires sacrifice, and we recognize the support, love, and strength that families provide behind the scenes. Central Florida has been blessed by that commitment.
Today, we join the community in wishing Mayor Demings strength, peace, comfort, and continued good health. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Mayor Demings, mèsi anpil pou sèvis ou, devouman ou, ak tout sa ou fè pou Central Florida. Nou ap priye pou ou ak fanmi ou. Nou swete ou fòs, sante, lapè, ak anpil benediksyon.
Thank you for your leadership, your friendship, and your unwavering commitment to making Central Florida a better place for all.
With gratitude and respect,
Joseph Augustin
