Closure along Vassar Drive between Edgewater Drive and Eaton Lane

The City of Orlando will perform a sanitary sewer repair along Vassar Drive between Edgewater Drive and Eaton Lane on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Access will be maintained for local traffic.

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions. Please use caution in the area and follow posted detour signs.

Dear College Park Residents,

We are asking for your input at our upcoming Community Conversations meeting on Monday 8/3.

We will be hosting candidates for our Orange County School Board Chair, Alicia Farrant and Angie Gallo along with our Senator LaVon Bracy Davis with an update from Tallahassee.
Given the importance of public education in our community, we feel compelled to include residents' questions for our candidates.
Please submit your questions, whether genral to both candidates or specific to an individual candidate, by Sunday 8/2. We will review and consolidate so that each candidates answers 1-3 questions in addition to their 5 minutes allotted for speaking.

This meeting is tomorrow night and is the best way to get face to face with the leadership team for our district. Let them know your questions and concerns so they can do their best job for us.
