Leadership Orlando Class 110 got a closer look at the creativity, culture and organizations that help make our region such a special place.

A big thank you to Orlando Family Stage for rolling out the welcome mat! With more than 100 years of history, Orlando Family Stage has been bringing stories to life, inspiring young minds and creating meaningful experiences through theatre and arts education.

And while we all love a good show, the arts are about so much more than entertainment. They support education, drive tourism, contribute to our economy and bring our communities together.

Experiences like these are what Leadership Orlando is all about: getting out into the community, making connections and seeing firsthand what makes Central Florida thrive.

During the Orlando Economic Partnership's recent Policy in Progress panel discussion, Orange County Sheriff John Mina shared his concerns about the potential impact of Amendment 3 on public safety funding.

While acknowledging the desire for property tax relief, Sheriff Mina raised concerns that the amendment could result in fewer deputies on the streets, slower emergency response times and challenges to community safety.

Today, the Orlando Economic Partnership hosted Policy in Progress: On the Ballot – Property Tax Reform, bringing together business and community leaders for a timely discussion on Amendment 3 and what the proposed property tax reform could mean for the Orlando region.

Over three days, our delegation connected, learned and explored new ideas that can help shape the future of the Orlando region. We returned home with fresh perspectives, stronger connections and valuable takeaways that can help advance our Orlando 2045 vision.

The 2026 Austin Executive Leadership Mission brought Central Florida leaders together for three days of learning, connection and collaboration.

Throughout the trip, business, civic and government leaders had the opportunity to step outside their day-to-day roles, exchange ideas and hear directly from Austin leaders about growth, innovation, talent and regional competitiveness.

More than anything, the mission created space for meaningful conversations and stronger relationships that can help shape the Orlando region’s future.
