A nonprofit branch of the 501c3 & NGO IDEAS For Us that develops, funds, & scales eco-action projects HIVE Meetings are on the first Thursday of every month!

Intellectual Decisions on Environmental Awareness Solutions. We work towards addressing environmental challenges and finding realistic solutions to combat issues we face today. We strive to Educate, Engage, and Empower others in environmental sustainability and provide innovative solutions through:
1) Research (R&D)
2) Action
3) Environmental Awareness

IDEAS strives to provide the link between interested students and issues affecting our local and regional environment.

IDEAS UCF hit the waters of Wekiwa Springs for a canoe paddle and clean up. Did you know Wekiwa Springs produces over 42 million gallons of freshwater daily? These springs are not only a vital water source but also support diverse wildlife and help maintain the natural beauty of Florida. Every piece of trash removed helps protect this incredible ecosystem! 💚

Fresh soil, fresh start! Huge thanks to for donating 225 pounds of nutrient-rich compost to our garden beds! 💚🌱. Our partnership with O-Town Compost began when they visited our campus to share insights with our members on their mission, the impact of food waste, and the importance of composting. With new seeds planted, we’re growing towards a greener future!

Yesterday we spent time with the students at the Creative School for Children at UCF teaching them how to make their own upcycled bird feeders!♻️ They learned about recycling and the importance of birds to nature🐦‍⬛🌿.
