The caterpillars 🐛 have deemed our butterfly 🦋 garden worthy! And our students are pretty excited about it 😆
As a math project today we calculated that these Monarch caterpillars should emerge from their chrysalis as beautiful butterflies in about three weeks. We’ll keep you posted!
Would your child love classes like this? You’re the reason we do what we do .org!

Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord! 🦋
The butterfly garden is finished! Well, not really…a garden is never finished but it certainly has come a long way! We will be adding more plants, a collection of bulbs and rhizomes, and educational signage. Thank you, thank you to our Grace Fellowship Academy Board and faculty, as well as Oriental First Baptist Church for their support and donations. We can’t wait to welcome our students and parents to orientation on August 21st! If you’d like to know more about how you can empower your homeschooling journey, visit our website .org or send us a DM. And if you’re in Oriental, be sure to stroll through the garden! 🌺

The rain has been relentless but good things are happening!
While we worked today, Austin shared how inspired he is by the retired people at Broad Creek Christian Church, who are tireless in their service to the Lord. We feel the same way about the people at Oriental First Baptist Church, some of whom still work in ministry in their nineties. We are so incredibly grateful for their willingness to share this beautiful space with our sweet, little school. Dear Jesus, no matter our age, location, gifts or resources, may we always be found faithful ❤️
