Resharing the Cordova Comprehensive Plan approved by the Cordova Planning Commission and adopted by the Cordova City Council in 2024. This Comprehensive plan was created in 18 months with the assistance of the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham. During this 18 months, multiple opportunities for community involvement were held, including online and printed surveys, strategy and Planning sessions, multiple public meetings. All projects that the Cordova Economic and Industrial Development Authority are championing in the City of Cordova are detailed in this Comprehensive Plan. This Plan is a long range plan for the community (20 years). Many projects have been completed or are in progress.
