We have been teaching sex-positive consent education under Burning Man Emergency Services since 2004. Access the BEDucator Program at BEDTalks.org 💋

The Bureau of Erotic Discourse (B.E.D.) was born in 2004 out of civic responsibility after a violation at Burning Man sparked the call: “Somebody should do something about that.”

Since then, we’ve reached tens of thousands with our sex-positive consent education through workshops, trainings, buttons, and our growing online BEDucator Program. We believe consent is essential to creating safer communities. Our mission is to equip organizations, camps, colleges, workplaces, clubs, and festivals with the tools to build a healthy and effective consent culture. Book a BED Talk for your group, become a Consent Ambassador (BEDucator), or join us in protecting our friends and neighbors from unwanted interactions.

Our beloved camper Mar’Qese (Qese) is recovering from emergency spinal surgery after being rushed to the hospital with severe pain and numbness and ultimately diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome, a rare condition that can cause permanent nerve damage or paralysis.

While the immediate danger has passed, Qese now faces a long recovery with intensive physical therapy and 6–12 months before returning to work. We’re asking for community support to help cover rent, food and basic living costs, gas and transportation, and access to a reliable car for medical and PT appointments. Without nearby family, community care is essential.

If you can donate or share, it makes a real difference!

Dear Friends! Our beloved Mar’Qese needs your help! On Tuesday… ITAI And Friends needs your support for Help Qese Get Back on Their Feet (literally)
