Volunteers needed! We need volunteers to help during the ARP auction to record prizes, fill out bid number and price, hold up prizes, and pass the prizes across the stage. The Regular Auction will take place Friday, May 29th and the Learning Support Auction will be on Thursday, May 21st.

Staff Appreciation Week at OMS is coming to a close, and we just have to say – what an incredible group of people we get to celebrate!

To every teacher, counselor, office staff member, custodian, aide and everyone in between: thank you. You show up every single day for our kids, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

A huge thank you also to everyone who donated, dropped off goodies, volunteered their time, or helped make this week extra special.

We're excited to bring back our annual Buy One, Get One Free Scholastic Book Fair May 11th through the 15th!

We accept Scholastic eWallet, most major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash.

A quick note on pennies: As you may have heard, the U.S. has halted penny production, and shortages are already affecting availability including what we're able to have on hand at the fair. We'll do our best to make correct change when we can, but if pennies aren't available at the time of purchase, cash transactions will be rounded to the nearest nickel. To keep things simple and speedy, we'd encourage cashless payment whenever possible.

We're doing something a little different this year, and we can't wait!

The OMS PTO is throwing a Blind Date with a Book party for our amazing staff to help them kick off summer with something to look forward to. We need your help to pull it off! We're collecting 200 adult books of all genres and topics. New or lightly used, all are welcome.

Here's how to donate:
Sign up through the Sign Up Genius (below) and drop off new or gently used adult books with your child to bring to school, or leave them at the front office. All donations must be in by May 29th so we have time to wrap everything up!

Our staff gives so much to our kids every single day. This is one small way to give a little something back before summer begins.

The ARP (Accelerated Reading Program) Auction is a highlight of the year for our middle school students. This May, students will use the points they’ve earned through reading to bid on fun prizes and experiences.
