Hey Grant Gurus, Kelly your President here. I have a few updates!
1-Amber has stepped down from the Communication Chair position. We're so appreciative of her work these past few months and wish her well on next steps. If you are a member who loves to keep people connected, is creative, and wants to be more involved, please let me know and we'd love to consider you for the position. 2-We had to shuffle around a few events. We will not be having the Prospecting session tomorrow at noon due to a reschedule with the presenter. Once we have another opportunity lined up, you'll know!
3-You will begin to see promotions for GrantsGiving. It's our second annual event where we gather with members, enjoy some great food, and celebrate our year of hard work in the grants profession. Look out for more information shortly, but keep November 19th from about 4-7pm free :).
4-Finally, we have been test-driving email communication exclusively for a bit in preparation for releasing a chapter newsletter! Moving forward, we will promote all events and key updates through email AND social media to make sure everyone stays in the know.
This is too lengthy for social media, but I wanted to check-in. You'll hear from me directly, as well as other Board Members, on socials a bit more until we get a new Communication Chair in place.
