Some of the cast of Heartland Youth Ballet’s The Adventures of Alice brought a little Wonderland to Cass St Trick ‘R’ Treat this past Saturday! They performed a section from the upcoming production and gave the community a sneak peek at the magic coming to the stage.

OAB will be closed Tuesday, October 27, through Saturday, October 31, for tech rehearsals and performances of The Adventures of Alice presented by Heartland Youth Ballet.

We look forward to seeing everyone back in the studios on Monday, November 2!

An incredible opportunity for our students at Omaha Academy of Ballet!

Last Thursday, our Ballet 5, 6 & 7 students took a private master class with Joe González, Associate Artistic Director and Dance Artist of Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Joe was previously a student of our own Mr. Parker, making it especially exciting to welcome him back to work with our advanced dancers.

On Friday evening, our students attended Complexions’ performance at the Orpheum Theater, bringing the experience full circle as they watched the company perform on stage.

We are incredibly fortunate to offer our dancers opportunities to learn from accomplished professionals and experience world-class dance firsthand. Thank you to Joe for sharing his time and expertise with our students!

Costume Week starts today at OAB! Dancers, show off your Halloween spirit in your favorite costume or festive accessories during class this week. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

OAB has secured a private master class with Complexions Contemporary Ballet for our advanced dancers next Thursday, October 22!

Dancers will work with Joe González, Associate Artistic Director and Dance Artist with Complexions, during this special class at OAB West.
