If you haven't helped to provide communication support for the field events at the track meet... WHY NOT? Not only do we provide information to the announcers with information about the events to provide to the crowd - we help keep the timing equipment functioning when there is an issue at the location - we report equipment issues like generators (or just adjust the choke a little :) - we make sure the rain delay was communicated to all events - and if necessary medical assistance.

One of the coolest State Track and Field traditions is the set of four flag poles representing our four track and field classifications.

As state and meet records are broken, the flags are raised - marking the moments when Nebraska student-athletes make history.

Each flag represents more than a record. It represents years of work, early mornings, hard practices, big dreams, and the unforgettable moments when preparation meets opportunity.

We can’t wait to see what the next two days bring. 🏅
