Leaving The Sideline

Leaving The Sideline Our Mission Statement: One su***de is one too many; impact one person at a time by Leaving the Sideline.

Our Mission Statement: One su***de is one to many, impact one person at a time by Leaving the Sideline with us. We are a team of Veterans and Professional Athletes creating a Non-Profit Organization to help fight the everyday struggles of Su***de, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and Mental Health. Our Veterans and Players whether they are leaving the battle field protecting and serving our country or th

e Gridiron for our entertainment purposes struggle with the new transition in life. These struggles include PTSD, Depression and Suicidal thoughts. They fight with “Whats my purpose in life now as I transition to what people would call a normal life.” This is the thought of their mindset and what goes through their minds afterwards. How are they able to to adapt and function leading their families and be able to sustain in their community. We are forming a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) of Veterans, Active Duty Soldiers, NFL Alumni, Players and Business to help with these challenges to ensure they are and still can be productive off the field as they were on the field. We are creating an environment were they can share their physical and mental struggles and connect with resources to help support and build an accomplish live with the help of others that support them and know their worth. Your Support in our Mission will help us build this program and provide the potential of these individuals to achieve their best. So, please join us as we help those that have given so much to us, for our Country and our Entertainment. Its our turn to give BACK to them and show them we care. We will have a Donate Button in the near future for those that would like to help us with our Mission.

We often talk about the sacrifices our military, veterans, and first responders make. But we don't always talk about what happens when the shift ends or the deployment is over.
The things they see and experience change them. For so many of our local heroes, the battle with PTSD doesn't stop just because they are safe at home.
If you’re carrying that heavy weight today, please hear this: You are not weak. You are not broken. You are a human being who went through something incredibly hard, and you deserve a safe place to heal.
We get it. We are here to listen, to support, and to walk alongside you—no judgment, just community.
You don't have to do this alone. Reach out to us anytime

June is PTSD Awareness Month. For our military, veterans, and first responders, the toughest battles don't always happen on the clock or on the battlefield.

Behind the uniform and the brave faces, many carry invisible wounds that keep them feeling isolated, trapped and on the sidelines of their own lives.
