Think Spring and Save the Date! It’s almost time for Thurston County Hunger Walk, supporting both Thurston County Food Bank and The Community Kitchen!

This year, we’ll be hosting the event at The RAC (Regional Athletic Complex) in Lacey on Sunday, May 3. The space features paved walking paths and leashed dogs are welcome.

Take steps to end hunger with us with an afternoon of fun, music, and supporting two great organizations.

Thank you Northwest Catholic for sharing about our program and our staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to feed those most in need in our community!

It took Raelene Wilson all of two days living at Bertha’s Place Too shelter before she began to look at the staff and fellow residents as family.

Spring has sprung and we have a spring in our step! The annual Thurston Hunger Walk on May 4th is a fun outdoor event promoting understanding of and support for hunger-relief efforts in our community.

• Huntamer Park (618 Woodland Square Loop SE, Lacey WA)
• Benefits The Community Kitchen & Thurston County Food Bank!
• Live music and camaraderie! Outdoors!
• Leashed dogs are allowed!

Please let friends, family, and co-workers know that they can support online, form their own walking team, or join our "The Community Kitchen" team — walking and/or donating in solidarity to end hunger in Thurston County. To "join" our team, all you need to do is click the "Community Kitchen" team when you donate online, or write it on the memo line of your check.
